This noble-rustic 25cm Userfriendly has a wild Damascus blade, which consists of 10 different steels. For this pattern welded steel, I used all suitable knife steels that my stock has to offer. That's why I called it "Across the Garden". It is characterized by a high hardness of 66 hrc (incl. deep freeze treatment) and high wear resistance. When etching this blade, I placed great value on strong contrasts. So this blade draws in various shades between light silver and dark gray. Of course, the Damascus steel was welded with the complete exclusion of oxygen and forged at the optimum temperature and deformation.
The geometry of the blade corresponds to a user friendly. The knife has a high cutting ability, at the same time it offers enough power reserves for carefree work. The cutting edge is ground so thin over its entire length that it bends over the fingernail. The knife is equally suitable for all cutting techniques.
The western handle is made of walnut burl with an annealed puddle iron end plate and a puddle iron pin.
