This mighty workhorse has a massive and heavy ApexUltra blade with a hardness of 66hrc. Nevertheless, it has a very good cutting ability and a finely ground tip. The blade has a moderate taper, the bevel angle becomes flatter towards the tip. As a result, the blade becomes more and more performant towards the tip. The high weight also supports the cut. The knife is suitable for all cutting techniques.
The grenadilla handle offers a sufficiently high counterweight so that the knife does not become too top-heavy. The handle is rounded off by a puddle iron cover plate, a reindeer horn spacer and a titanium pin.
