The blade of this knife is made of 450-layer high-performance Damascus steel made of 1.2562, ApexUltra, and 1.2767 ESU steels with a hardness of 66 HRC. The Damascus steel was forged under oxygen-freeze conditions, eliminating any inclusions or cavities between the layers.
The blank was also forged with optimal temperature control and forming, and then subjected to extensive heat treatment (including deep-freeze treatment after hardening). This guarantees an optimally adjusted microstructure and finely distributed carbides.
Towards the coil, the knife resembles a slightly more robust Userfriendly blade, while towards the tip, it lies between a Userfriendly blade and a Laser blade. Overall, the knife is a very good performer.
The knife is suitable for all cutting techniques.
The handle is made of stabilized Buckeye Burl with a Grenadilla spacer and a bronze pin and end plate.
The saya is made of buckeye burl with a backing of grenadilla a middle section of padouk and a pin made of bronze.
